Whether it’s pack play during supervised play dates, bouncing around in the stream, practicing ball Katie5chase & retrieve in the wonderfully large fields, pastures, & agility arena, or “deluxe” boarding with the entire staff, our border collie mix Katie Roo LOVES Spring Valley Farm. The minute we turn in the farm’s general direction, her anticipation and excitement levels rise to assure us that this is by far her favorite place on the planet! We enjoy our times watching Katie with her doggy friends, and our vacations have become worry-free. This past December we added a few training hours to her boarding time. The staff is amazing! When we picked her up, Katie got to strut her stuff. She clearly was having great fun. We feel so fortunate to have a quality facility like Spring Valley Farm available to us for Katie. Update: January 2014: We love SVF, but more importantly, Katie and Yoda love SVF. They get lots of snuggles and TLC from Cindy, Bridget, Will, and Cameron. Kiss, kiss, lick, lick, wiggle, wiggle!

The best equipped, most professional and, especially, most caring dog care center we’ve found in 20 years. She has taken care of our two Labradors at least ten times, once for a 20-day trip. Both dogs love it, bounding up to her eagerly every time we drop them off and greeting us 100% healthy and happy when we return. We’ve been especially impressed with the individual attention she gives each dog and her awareness of their special needs—escorting our older, arthritic dog up & down a ramp, playing fetch with the younger one, and providing “pool” time for them both.

Hi. My name is Buddy Casey and I have been going out to the Spring Valley playgroups since I was 8 weeks old. When I was little, I was all action and energy but they took me under their guidance and now, I am still all energy but I am contained and trained. My folks love me and love taking me out to Spring Valley for romps and stay overs. I have been lucky to find good owners and Spring Valley Farms. I look forward to running with you out in the fields and playing tug of war.

Best regards, Buddy

Gracie, our Sheltie loves Spring Valley Farm & all the family…especially the little dogs. Her cousin Charlie loves it there too.

WindySpring Valley Farm is Dog Heaven on earth! Our keeshond, Windy, and border collie, Skye, beg to go everyday. Taking the “kids” to the dog park is the highlight of my day, too.

The setting is picturesque with beautiful mountains surrounding the fields and a bubbling creek nearby. We all get our exercise running around the park and Skyefrolicking with the other dogs and owners. They have done an outstanding job making a safe and instructive environment. I know my pups are loved and cared for and that my needs will be addressed immediately. They have gone beyond the call of duty many times helping me and my doggie children get the best experience possible. Windy, Skye and I agree that Spring Valley Dog Farm is the best!!!

We recently tried Spring Valley Farm Dog Care and have quickly become a 100_6282loyal fan. We could not have been happier with them. Our two dogs, a pug and a lab, loved the large running spaces, accommodations and the treatment they received (we of course discussed all of this with them when they came home).

We ran across this wonderful dog “camp” at Spring Valley Farm last year, when looking for a safe, secure place for our 9-year-old Lab, Glenn. Being fairly new to Western North Carolina, we looked Glennaround a bit for a suitable and convenient place. We were very impressed with her facility, and the care and attention they invested in meeting us and Glenn, getting a good bio/history of Glenn, and making sure he would fit in.

We have since left Glenn there several times and found the care to be meticulous, loving, and thoughtful of Glenn’s needs. Glenn, who is a very social fellow, loves going there, and seems very happy and contented. He was always happy to see us when we came to get him, but we had the feeling that he left the staff and his fellow canine campers with some regret. SVF is our dogs’ trusted home away from home when we cannot travel with them.

Spring Valley Farm Dog Park and Dog Care is the best kept secret that my husband Denney, myself and our beloved two year old Golden Retriever Dozer has discovered in the last year. The facility allows two senior citizens that entered into a new relationship with an adorable 8 week old puppy who gained 2 lbs a week and was fast approaching 100 lbs. that he needed more exercise.

We tried walking faster, dog parks in Hendersonville and Asheville but none of these were adequate. Dozer was quite willing to become a couch potato but our veterinarian was becoming concerned about his expanding girth.

We visited Spring Valley as guests of Deerlake and it only took us a week to know that a membership was the answer to our dilemma. Our retriever learned to chase balls, cool off in the lovely natural stream DozerJasperon warm days and the bonus for Dozer’s Mom and Dad was the wonderful new friendships we have acquired at the fun play groups.

Pictured here is Dozer and his new puppy friend Jasper playing tug of war after a cool dip in the stream. Also, the staff shows their affection to all of the dogs.

Katie and I wanted to tell you what a great experience we had at your home.Katie

It was very hard for me to drop Katie off the day we were going on our trip, since Katie and I had very seldom been separated. Thanks to you and your concern the separation wasn’t as bad as I anticipated. You made sure I felt ok with leaving her under your care. Even though I missed her terribly I felt quite sure that she was happy in the environment you’ve provided to our “four footed children”.

We will never hesitate to leave Katie under your care. So, thank you for everything, especially making a worried “Mommy” feel more at ease with leaving Katie for a week.

SamsonSpring Valley Farm has been my dog caregiver for the past 10 years.  They are caring people who provide animals with the love, affection and attention they need when their owners are absent.  They are true animal lovers and give their charges all that they require. A 5-star pet “hotel”.

Sedona8-10Sedona, my Wheaten Terrier, was introduced to this facility when she was barely 8 weeks old. They knew exactly how to introduce Sedona to the dog group so she never felt threatened and has been socially acclimated as a result of the tender approach and secure handling. The amount of out-of-door time that Sedona experiences while over-night boarding is just one of the things that we love about the Spring Valley Farm Dog Care.

Spring Valley Kennel is not only a boarding facility but a home away from home for Lily and Boo. They have been caring for my two goldens since 2008! Sometimes I think Lily and Boo wouldn’t mind if I never came back to pick them up (; They are treated like their very own pets! I have used many different kennels and boarders over the last 8 years and no one compares or even comes close to the kind of genuine love you find at Spring Valley! I never worry and always enjoy my trips knowing Lily and Boo are treated like doggie royalty!

jessebed2Jesse enjoys his stay at the farm and bounds out of the car like it’s his second home.   I don’t worry about Jesse because I know he’s getting good care and having a great time playing with his friends.  The play time is what sets Spring Valley Farm apart.  I believe it makes all the difference in the quality of Jesse’s boarding experience. Our boy Jesse is a regular at the farm. We really appreciate having a safe, comfortable place to take our pup, knowing he’ll have a great time playing with all his canine friends. We know that he is in good hands.

Sandy (20 lbs) (on the left in the photo) really thinks that he is a big dog and loves to play with them onsandy play days. Also, loves vacationing with them when we have to go out of town.

Lucy and Sarah enjoyed another 8 days at Spring Valley this month ( June, 2015). Cindy’s helper, Bridget, welcomed all of us when we drove up, and proceeded to take all the important information that would result in a pleasant, safe stay for the 2 dogs. While they were there we knew the 2 dogs would be in a well-maintained environment, fed according to our instructions, given their medications twice daily, and have fun-time outdoors with other pets in the secure play areas, as happened on their 2 previous boarding visits. We had a good vacation and thanks to everyone at Spring Valley, so did Lucy and Sarah. We appreciate Cindy’s dog farm and all that she and her staff do to care for the dogs who stay there. Thank you.

I just want to express my appreciation to you and your staff for the care and love you provide to Jenny and all the “pups”. It means so much to us to know she is happy and well when we travel. Thanks for your great and much needed service. Linda and Jerry Dickerson
